Unfortunately, the parts Department indicated that there were special plates or instructions. I note that there are two (2) small dimples at the front the vehicle very close to where I would expect to place the plate. However, they are down too far.

Ironically, I have seen the plates advertised for (up to) 2012 Ford Escapes with the screw holes placed exactly where these dimples are. However, if I look online for 2014 Ford Escape plates I only find those with the four (4) holes in each corner. To say that I am confused is an understatement.
