I finally went to the free trial download at corel.com and it gave me the option to enter my serial number. As a result, the most current version installed and placed an icon on my toolbar in WP X6. It seems to be a bit cumbersome and hopefully it is customizable so my authorities look the way I want. I am proficient in using WP TOA and it is not clear that this program will be any faster in the long run. BTW, locating the program was very difficult.
The User Guide was located at C: ProgramData Corel PerfectAuthority 1.0. Reply by dasvt on July 12, 2011 Addendum to my review: The Lightning issue seemed to have been resolved with an update. Then Quattro Pro started crashing almost every time I used it, I tried to contact Corel. Even though I'd registered my WP Home and Office, it asked me to register before submitting a tech request. I had registered mine when I first installed it, but it no longer shows on my list of products in my Corel account (which goes back quite a few years).
When I tried to reregister, the site informed me that this product was never a 'regular' product,and is no longer supported. It did not accept my registration. Corel has completely abandoned WP Home and Office version, even though the componants are the same as those included in the regular version. A few weeks ago they were promoting it, now it does not exist.
