Hi, Currently doing this laptop up for my sister, It originally had Vista Basic installed but i changed it a while a go for XP. After running a bit on XP i have decided to try Windows 7 on it.It has installed fine and so far runs quite well. The only problem i have is there is no wireless driver, but i am having a problem finding it too!

  1. Packard Bell Driver Wifi

Packard Bell Driver Wifi

PackardPackard bell support

The packardbell.com site is useless and everything i search for either is asking for money or is just rubbish. Apparently it is also known as 'EasyNote MZ36 series' Can anyone help me? Its annoying me now The other problem i have is there is no sleep option Its grayed out and it does seem to take a while to start up from a shutdown where the cursor will stay on for a good few minutes before the login screen appears, this is not a problem if it could go to sleep though. Thanks for the links, although they didn't work i used the Hardware ID and managed to find the utility from searching google and can now connect wirelessly.

Drivers

The sleep option just doesn't want to work, if i go under sleep in the advanced options there is just hibernate information and thats all. The laptop doesn't seem to work well with Windows 7 with driver issues, seen as sleep doesnt work, i can't get any decent drivers for the graphics card so it looks a little blurry too and the packard bell website is still useless. Might go back to xp at this rate:P.
